Destination #7: Budapest Lango’s

On Sunday, March 15th, as planned, I ventured back to the cluster of food trucks in Porty Moody within Rocky Point Park to try the Budapest Lango’s food truck that I had seen the previous week. It had caught my eye as they looked to be selling a special type of Hungarian street food bread which is something I haven’t seen before.

Budapest Lango’s was actually not on the Street Food app. I found out later that they have only been around for 4 months so maybe they are just too new? Or maybe they don’t know about such an app – I guess I could have told them about it.

While I was there I tried their chicken schnitzel and two of their langos (fried circular pieces of bread), one topped with jalapenos, and the other topped with sour cream and grated cheese. The langos were so good that I think have to say that this has been my favourite food truck so far and this is #7!
